Louisa Aviles, Director of Group Violence Intervention at the National Network for Safe Communities (out of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NY), will be coming via Zoom to our meeting. We plan to make the majority of thismeeting about hearing from her about just what GVI is, what makes it so successful, and what are the first steps a city undertakes in getting it implemented.
